The last weekend in February is quickly approaching and we are so excited! We still have a few spots left, so tell any friends who you think will be interested. We wanted to share with you some tips to help you get organized before the retreat gets here. Arriving at the retreat with your pictures, papers, stickers, etc. organized can save you valuable retreat time and make sure you are as productive as possible at the retreat! Here are a few things that can help:
- Keep a watch for deals on prints online. Sites such as Shutterfly, Snapfish, SeeHere, and Walgreens will often have great deals on prints. If you don't already have accounts on these websites, you can usually earn free prints just by setting up an account.
- Keep at watch at Hobby Lobby and Michael's for sales on scrapbook papers, stickers, adhesives, and other supplies you may need. These stores regularly have 50% off sales on their scrapbook supplies.
- When you have ordered your prints and bought your papers, etc. use a couple of nap times and MDO days to organize your pages. We like to use Jumbo (2.5 gallon) Ziplock bags to organize all our pictures, papers, and any other embellishments we are going to use for a particular page. (2.5 gallon ziplock bags can sometimes be hard to find, but are usually available at Wal-Mart.) By spending this time before the retreat getting your pages organized, it can streamline your scrapbooking at the retreat. You can just pull out one of your pre-organized ziplock bags, scrapbook that page and then move on to the next bag! We have posted 2 pictures of this below.
We hope these little tips help! We can't wait to see you all at the retreat!
